Alvord Independent School District is a public school district based in Alvord, Texas (USA).
The district is located in north central Wise County and extends into a small portion of southern Montague County.
In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]

Originally, the Elementary was a group of classrooms that were apart from each other and there used to be a large auditorium connected to the old middle school, which is now demolished, although you can still see it on Google Maps.
